About
Helping you create real, lasting change.
For 20 years, I’ve worked alongside people who want life to feel better, and are ready to make the changes that get them there.
My career has spanned both agency-based and private practice counselling, supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of challenges. I’ve also held senior leadership roles in mental health services, providing both clinical and operational direction.
Today, my focus is Change Therapy, a targeted, collaborative approach that helps you move from knowing something needs to be different, to making it happen. It’s designed for people who are ready to look closely at what’s going on, understand why, and take practical steps forward.
This work is direct, compassionate, and results-focused. It’s not about endlessly circling the problem, it’s about building insight, making decisions, and seeing tangible shifts in how you feel and live.
If you’re here because you want to strengthen your relationship, you might like my digital resource, Give Me Ten Minutes. It’s a guided framework for couples to have short, focused conversations that cut through the noise, improve communication, and build connection, even when life feels busy or tense. Many people start here before, during, or alongside Change Therapy to create immediate positive shifts.
Why people work with me.
Why people work with me.
I work best with people who are high-functioning on the outside, but feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed on the inside.
Many of my clients describe me as:
Direct and honest — I’ll say what I see, even if it’s hard to hear.
Supportive and collaborative — We work as a team, not in a hierarchy.
Practical and strategic — Our conversations always lead somewhere useful.
If you want change that sticks, we’ll get there by blending psychological insight with actionable strategies you can start using straight away.
Qualifications and professional memberships.
These qualifications mean you’re working with someone who brings both academic depth and practical, real-world expertise to every session. My training spans counselling, supervision, health sciences, and investigative work, giving me a unique ability to quickly understand complex situations, ask the right questions, and guide you towards clear, actionable solutions.

Outside the office.
I live in Christchurch with my husband and our three young children. Life is full, often chaotic, and always interesting, which means I understand first-hand how hard it can be to create space for reflection and change.
