Speaking & Workplace Wellbeing

Keynotes and small-group sessions with Charlotte Cummings on burnout, pressure and the feelings that hold people back. Big ideas, a few uncomfortable truths, and tools your team will use on Monday.

Your people are capable, busy and stretched.

A generic wellbeing session gets polite applause and changes nothing. Charlotte has spent 20 years working with people’s struggles up close, in private practice and in senior leadership roles across mental health services. She brings that to the room with honesty, research and enough humour to keep everyone listening.

Wellbeing Pep Talks

Insights and practical tools to keep your team's wellbeing on track. Thirty-minute sessions for small groups of 6 to 12 people (or by negotiation).

The Self-Strategic Plan

There are lots of ways to set goals. I like mine best, and so do the people I've shared it with. This is my system for setting goals, tracking them and recasting them when life changes the plan.

Being Seen

More and more roles ask us to be comfortable being seen. Speaking up in staff meetings, following up, filming a video clip, posting on social media, giving a short speech. This session exposes the common barriers that make people shy away, and how to get past them.

Managing a Busy Day

Some jobs are full on. You're swamped, the pressure's on and expectations are high. This session combines the best of neuroscience with practical hacks for managing stress. We also tackle the stories we tell ourselves when we're under the pump (like, we're failing, we're not good enough, and we can't possibly stop or look after ourselves).

Avoiding and Recovering from Burnout

Burnout has big consequences, for the person and the business. This session is brutally honest about how burnout happens, and gives a map out for anyone who realises they're already there.

Making Your Mind Your Friend

Your mind follows you absolutely everywhere. Luckily, it's far more trainable than you think. Does yours sound like your best friend? If not, we work out why, and how to make it kind, capable and supportive.

Keynotes

For conferences, leadership events and all-staff days.

Standing Between You and What You Want Is Your Unbearable Feeling.

My signature talk. We all have a feeling we avoid at all costs. Over time, those costs get bigger. Everything we want, in health, work, parenting and relationships, sits on the other side of that feeling.

This talk helps your team start one of the most profound changes a person can make: no longer fearing the feeling they've been running from. Expect people to leave challenged, changed and finally living with the lights on.

How to Build a Life That Feels as Good as It Looks.

Plenty of capable people have built lives that look great from the outside. Good job, nice home, full calendar. Inside, they're stretched, flat or running on empty.

This talk explores the gap between how life looks and how it feels, why high performers are so good at ignoring it, and the practical shifts that close it. People leave knowing what they want more of, what they need less of, and where to start
